Another fairly cheap option - and it gives you a chance to spend a day in Bratislava . Once in Bratislava it is very cheap to fly on to Split , Zadar or Dubrovnik .

From 2004 Croatia has a new highways with speed limit on 120 km/hour. The new highway conects all major cities, however highway from Split to Dubrovnik has not been built and we still use motorway which takes 3:30 hours to get from Split to Dubrovnik.
